Certificate Attestation

Home country, embassy and MoFAIC attestation — we get it moving.

Attestation is the chain of stamps that proves a document issued outside the UAE is genuine. It normally runs from the issuing authority in your home country, through that country's foreign ministry, the UAE embassy there, and finally the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Missing one step means the document is refused.

We do not carry this out ourselves. We work out what your case actually needs and put you in touch with a licensed provider who does — and we stay your point of contact while it runs.

Who this is for

  • New employees whose degree certificate must be attested for a work permit
  • Parents enrolling children in a UAE school
  • Anyone applying for a family or golden visa

How it works

  1. 1Send us the certificate and we check which stamps it already carries
  2. 2We map the remaining chain for your issuing country and what each step involves
  3. 3We introduce you to a provider who runs it through those authorities in order
  4. 4You get the attested original back; we follow up at each stage so it does not stall

Turnaround: Depends heavily on the issuing country — we give a realistic range before starting

Questions we get

Can you attest a photocopy?

No. Attestation is performed on the original document. Anyone offering to attest a copy is not doing real attestation.

How much does attestation cost?

Government fees differ by country and document type and are revised periodically, so a provider quotes per case rather than publishing a figure that would soon be wrong. We will get you that quote before you commit.

My degree is from India. Does that change anything?

Yes. Each country has its own route — for example some require state-level authentication before the national foreign ministry. We map the chain for your country and point you at a provider who runs it.
